The Outline

Here is the vision, framework and plans - so far

Welcoming home entrance in typical Andalusian style

The Vision

Imagine a welcoming space to enjoy respite from lifes’ pressures. A space where nature and people intertwine to reconnect and rebalance into harmony.

Space to let the burdens of life lift from your shoulders, where you can reflect and contemplate the next steps in your life. Stepping outside of your day to day enables you to see the bigger picture.

25 acres or more of protected land,

and a community bound not by profit, but by purpose.

Each Elemental Foundation site will hold space for reflection, creativity, and care for the natural world.

The surrounding land remains wild and tended with reverence, a living classroom for sustainable living, creativity, and community-led conservation. This is not a commercial retreat business. It is a return to nature, rhythmn and a pace of life that works for mind body and soul.

The 4 problems

  1. Disconnection from who we are besides work and our family role.

  2. Disconnection from nature yet we rely on the air, the water, the earth and the sun to survive.

  3. Loneliness is off the scale. To combat this we must befriend ourselves and learn to trust our own instincts and sensations as a guide to living well. Space and time outside routine daily life is needed for this.

  4. Long lasting happiness has been crowded out by hopelessness and quick dopamine hits.

Elemental Foundation Alleviates these problems

Why It Matters

Modern life pulls us away from what truly sustains us. We see burnout, disconnection, and ecological decline as symptoms of the same imbalance - a world that has forgotten stillness and rest.

The Elemental Foundation exists to restore that balance. To create sanctuaries where wellbeing and ecology meet. To remind us that inner peace and outer harmony grow together.

Starting in Andalucia (Almeria Levante) and radiating out from there. We start with one and grow a movement, together.

Why Now

01
Sustainability

Having more things rarely converts to increased contentment long term. What we consume needs to become a conscious consideration in order to regulate our nervous systems and to conserve natural resources.

Sustainable living need not be frugal.

Spending time amongst nature helps people to reevaluate their priorities and to reaffirm that they are enough, exactly as they are.

03
Helping The Helpers

Those who hold space for others often forget to hold it for themselves. Amid the noise, burnout, and busyness of modern life, we need quiet places that remind us of what truly matters.

02
Finding Meaning

The old way of life through doing, work and achievement is coming to an end. To thrive and flourish people must find fulfilment in other ways.

Elemental Foundation inspires and helps people to connect with their deeper essence beyond work roles or what they own.

The Elemental Way - Respite and Rejuvenation

We move away from the consumption model of retreats to one of reciprocity and regeneration. You nurture the land and it nurtures you.

Your involvement may be physical, creative, or simply the offering of your attention. Every act of care becomes part of a generational legacy, a collective inheritance of peace.

This is spiritual ecology in practice: honouring the elements of earth, water, air, and fire in their raw, unprocessed state.

Time on the land is an act of communion, a chance to heal, to grow, and to be inspired by the light, the trees, and the peace and contentment you feel in every cell whilst immersed in this landscape.

Three Ways Of Giving

Whether you give through your business, your craft, or your heart, every contribution helps protect wild land and nurture peace in a world that’s forgotten stillness.

Protecting Land from a Future We Can Already See Coming

Sprawling suburbia with no thought for nature

Land and wildlife routinely gets sidelined for human expansion without a thought for how we need to respect and retain the natural resources for fuel, food and shelter which we rely on.

This has to stop

Future Potential

Re-normalising Stillness as a Human Need

Humans are not made to do, do, do. We are made to be, be, do.

We need places and time to rest and be still to consider where our lives are out of balance and how to redress that balance.

Creating Connection in times of loneliness

welcoming space to sit and chat outside a Spanish house

Elemental Foundation is a community of like minded people. Here for each other. Coaches, creatives and more who want to help.

With fulfillment and connection as priorities way above profit.

Expansion into more locations

Set up new locations to give more people chance to be part of a human/nature partnership.

To find what really matters.

If members want to spend more time in rural Spain the Foundation can facilitate visas and property purchase and rental.

How the Concept was Born

Being around nature has changed my life for the better. I know it can do the same for you and others.

Will you answer the call too?

Followed the shoulds

Felt the Pull

Moved Country

This gave me my appreciation for animals, wildlife and the rhythmns and cycles of life. I spent a lot of time being very dirty!

Watching calves and lambs being born, milking cows who all had indiviual names.

Should go to uni.

Should get a career

Should get married

None fulfilled me for long, yet I didn’t know why. I discovered that my motivation is to be in service rather than to earn. Things felt off, still.

Now in a fab partnership, we both felt that suburban living was no longer for us. The countryside was calling me back. Yet I couldn’t afford to return.

I craved the space and the peace

So my knack for creative problem solving came in useful, again. We couldn’t afford to go back to Devon but we could afford Southern Spain.

Countryside called, I responded and bought a large house in the country, mortgage free and have never looked back.
